Ghana

Jesus said, “Let’s go to the rest of the villages so I can preach there also. This is why I’ve come” (Mark 1:38).

Our mission team to Ghana leaves Tulsa this afternoon.

Please pray for us. The team members are Asher & Brad Camp, Julie Moncrief, Doug Rains, Tye Miles, Joshua Norell, Eli Neal, Blair Stone, Lauren Harrell, Samantha Wright, Peter & Terry White.

We’ll be working with long-time Faith Promise missionary Seth Anyomi and his organization African Christian Mission.

Here’s our tentative schedule for the next two weeks:

July 30: Arrival in Accra. Rest and informal fellowship

July 31: 7:30 Breakfast. 9-12 am, sight-seeing tour of Accra, currency exchange and shopping. 12:30 pm, lunch. 2 pm, depart for Amedzofe.

August 1: Morning – worship with various churches in Amedzofe. Afternoon – sightseeing. Evening – have joint prayer and fellowship with ACM family and any who wish to participate.

August 2: Depart for Nkwanta. Welcome, evening prayer and fellowship with host team.

August 3-7: 7:30 am – breakfast. 9 am – door to door evangelism, building construction, counseling/discipleship. 12:45 pm – lunch. 2:30 pm – door to door evangelism, building construction, counseling/discipleship. 5 pm – dinner. 7 pm – open air meeting/counseling/one-on-one ministry.

August 7: 8 am – breakfast. 9 am – parting moment, prayer, and goodbye. 11 am – depart for Accra.

August 8: 7 am – breakfast. 8:30 am – depart for worship service in Winneba. 10 am – worship with Calvary Center, Winneba. 12:15 pm – continue to Elmina. 6 pm – dinner. 8 pm – rest and informal fellowship.

August 9: 7 am – breakfast. 9 am – construction/evangelism at Nima. 1 pm – lunch. 2:30 – construction/evangelism at Nima. 6 pm – dinner. 8 pm – prayer fellowship and sharing at Calvary Worship Center.

August 10: 7 am – breakfast. 9 am – shopping. 12:30 pm lunch. 2 pm – packing and rest. 6 pm – dinner, then leave for airport.

We will be arriving in Tulsa on Wednesday, August 11 at 11:39 am via United 839.
