Ghana Day 7

Brad just discovered the wifi on his phone works here in Nkwanta. So this will be concise since I’m typing on an iPhone.

It’s 1:30 in the afternoon and we’re sitting around the guest house, wrapping up lunch. We’re black eyed peas in a red sauce with a ground up and dried grain called gary and fried plantains.

Today is the first day since being in Nkwanta that our whole team has been able to work together. We did some hard labor pouring a foundation for Pastor Benjamin’s church building. About 20 of us total Americans and Ghanaians mixing rocks and concrete in a pit and then carrying it, one bucket at a time, on our heads–some more gracefully than others. The Church building a church.

Fun stuff.
